UX/AI Research Collaboration with UXia.app 12/03/2026

UXia is a new start-up AI company currently based in Spain. They provide AI generated user experience (UX) test respondents for website and product development. I invited the Co-Director of the company to be an online guest speaker for my UX students in their undergraduate courses. At the end of the engaging presentation students asked questions. The result identified a need to develop research projects. We were offered the opportunity to give the students a part-time remote internship. In this role the intern reviews UX test results from humans and compares them to the AI-generated personas. Through this analysis the AI outputs can be refined.
Another part of this collaboration it the opportunity to expand research in UXia. I will be an Independent Research Consultant with the organisation to:
> explore research projects and funding agencies in the UK and internationally.
> develop research methodologies and tools to produce AI models and frameworks to validate the use of AI generated UX personas for testing.
> Present our research at international conferences
> Publish research in journals, book chapters and blogs to build a global brand as UX/AI experts
> Enter our research projects into industry award recognition events
An example of the guest talk can be seen in my YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmRMcM1WuxE&t=2728s
